Ferring Pharmaceuticals Dedicates Israeli R&D Center

Switzerland’s Ferring Pharmaceuticals has dedicated its $2.7 million Israeli R&D center.

The center will have clinical trial facilities to support products based on microbiological research and cell cultures.

The development and regulatory staff of Biotechnology General, which Ferring acquired in 2005, moved to the facility, according to Israeli business daily Globes.

Ferring develops endocrinology, gastroenterology, gynecology, fertility and urology treatments.
