New Insulin Pump May Eliminate the Need for a Jab

Patients with Type 1 diabetes may soon be free of insulin injections, for a new non-invasive treatment has been tested on patients in Cornwall, UK. The treatment, an insulin pump, works by mimicking the body's pancreas delivering measured doses of insulin through the layer of tissue just beneath the skin.
