Eisai Introduces New Aricept Dose Formulations

Japanese drugmaker Eisai has started selling new dose formulations of Aricept for the treatment of severe Alzheimer's disease in Japan.

The company received marketing authorization in August for Aricept (donepezil hydrochloride) tablet 10 mg and Aricept D tablet 10 mg.

The new formulations also have been added to the National Health Insurance drug price list, according to Eisai.
