RADI Medical Systems Launches Next-Generation PressureWire

RADI Medical Systems has updated its PressureWire Certus, a pressure-sensing guide wire used in measuring fractional flow reserve (FFR).

FFR is necessary to identify lesions that can restrict blood flow in a patient’s coronary artery, the company said.

The product uses a large entry funnel that allows a wire to be reconnected into the proximal connector. A locking cap provides positive reinforcement when the wire and the connector are locked in place by using an on-and-off twist function.
