Philips Introduces New High Definition Ultrasound System

Part of the company’s family of HD ultrasound systems, the product is intended to provide small hospitals, clinics and private practices with a cost-effective system that does not include some features on higher-end models.

The HD15 provides sharper images and improved tissue uniformity throughout the field depth by incorporating a lens-tuning feature with five times more focal points than previous generation systems, Philips said.
