Tanzanian Registration Guideline First to Address Devices

The Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority has released its first draft guideline dealing specifically with medical devices. The guideline, effective Jan. 1, defines requirements for registration of medical devices, outlining a risk-based framework for regulating medical devices based on Global Harmonization Task Force’s guidelines.
