FDA Clears Meridian Laser Device

Meridian has received FDA 510(k) clearance to market the Lapex BCS Body Contouring System laser device. The device is used to elevate tissue temperature and provide temporary relief of minor arthritis pain, muscle spasms, and muscle and joint pain and stiffness. It also can temporarily increase local blood circulation and relax muscles, the company said.
