FDA Seeks Comment on Reporting Trial Sponsor Ties

Devicemakers who think they or their clinical trial investigators spend too much time reporting their financial ties on two FDA forms can submit comments to the agency by Feb. 27. Trial sponsors spend about 20 hours a year reporting to the FDA on each clinical investigator’s financial interests related to the trial and other studies that they sponsor, according to an agency estimate in a Federal Register notice.
