Massachusetts Regulations Exempt Clinical Trial Payments

Clinical trial payments will be exempted from a Massachusetts requirement for drug- and devicemakers doing business in the state to report all gifts worth more than $50 to authorized prescribers, dispensers and purchasers of drugs, biologics and devices, according to proposed Department of Public Health regulations. The regulations were issued last month to implement a state law enacted last August.
