Clinical Trial for HIV Device Almost Complete

Aethlon Medical is nearing completion of a first-in-human clinical trial using its Hemopurifier device as a treatment for HIV. Serving as an adjunct to the immune system, the filtration device targets strains of HIV to reduce patients’ viral loads and replenish immune cells. Study results indicate that patients showed reductions in viral loads after one week of treatment, Aethlon says.
