Abbott Gets FDA CLIA Waiver on Cartridges on Handheld Blood Analyzer

Healthcare company Abbott Laboratories said that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988, or CLIA, granted waived status for five additional test cartridges used by the company's i-STAT handheld blood analyzer.
