Sales Rep Pleads Guilty to Misbranding Device

A second sales representative from a device manufacturing company has pleaded guilty to a charge of felony misbranding. Justin Demming, a sales representative for an unnamed device company based in Hopkinton, Mass., entered his guilty plea last week in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. While working as a territory sales manager for the company, Demming promoted the unapproved use of a combination of devices, which had been approved for humanitarian device exemptions, with a bone void filler.
