Etex Gets CE Marking for Bone Materials

Etex has received CE Marking for its Beta-bsm injectable paste and Gamma-bsm moldable putty for use as bone substitute materials. Using a hard-setting nanocrystalline calcium phosphate technology, the products provide an osteoconductive scaffold to generate new bone growth that can be remodeled into bone over time. The products give surgeons greater flexibility in meeting specific patient needs, the company said.
