OHRP Ends Investigation, Finds Mayo Clinic IRB in Compliance

The HHS Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) is closing its investigation of the Mayo Clinic IRB, according to a letter sent to the clinic’s general counsel. OHRP also is rescinding its determination that the Mayo Clinic was in violation of federal regulations due to inadequate recordkeeping practices that made it difficult in some cases to figure out what research the IRB had approved.
