North American Scientific Files for Chapter 11 on Reduction in Funds

North American Scientific, Inc., a manufacturer of radioisotopic products, said it filed voluntary petitions in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
