FDA to Announce New Risk Communication Plan

The FDA will announce a risk communication plan in the next few months as part of its efforts toward swifter reactions to quality issues, FDA Deputy Commissioner Joshua Sharfstein said at the Parenteral Drug Association-FDA 2009 Joint Regulatory Conference. “Better risk communication is a top priority at the agency,” he said.
