Hamburg Calls for FDA to Use New Regulatory Science

The FDA must use the emerging technologies of genomic and personalized medicine, stem cell research and nanotechnology in healthcare. To do that, the agency must develop and implement a new form of regulatory science, Commissioner Margaret Hamburg said at the closing of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society conference.
