Lupin Unit, Novartis Wrap Up Hypertension Drug Dispute

Novartis and a subsidiary of Indian drugmaker Lupin Pharmaceuticals agreed to settle litigation over Lupin’s proposed generic version of Lotrel (amlodipine besylate/benazepril HCl). Both sides agreed to drop their claims and counterclaims without prejudice, according to court documents filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
