AAHRPP: Accredited Researchers Found to Be More Compliant
November 10, 2009
Clinical investigators who have received accreditation
from the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP) are less likely to have FDA compliance problems than unaccredited
investigators, according to a study conducted by the accrediting group. The FDA had issued findings of “voluntary action indicated” to 46
percent of nonaccredited investigators compared with 27 percent of AAHRPP-accredited investigators, the study says.
