FDA Clears ProParaflu Assay

Gen-Probe Inc. said that the FDA has cleared for marketing Prodesse’s ProParaflu assay, a molecular test that detects and differentiates parainfluenza 1, 2 and 3 viruses, which cause lower respiratory tract infections.
