Japan to Exchange Information With EC, Health Canada

Japan’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) has signed confidentiality agreements with the European Commission (EC) and Health Canada — a move that could speed up review times for devicemakers. The agreements allow the agencies to exchange information such as advance drafts of legislation, regulatory guidance documents, and regulatory policies and practices, the PMDA says in a statement posted on its website last month.
