Osseoflex Systems Receive Health Canada Licenses

Osseon Therapeutics has been given Canadian medical device licenses for its Osseoflex steerable and curvable bone cement delivery needle and Osseoflex DR steerable and curvable bone drill. The systems are indicated to treat symptomatic vertebral fractures, which affect hundreds of thousands of patients a year, according to the company statement. The Osseoflex systems were approved in the U.S. last year.
