GSK Posts List of $14.6 Million in Speaker, Consulting Fees

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has followed other large drugmakers in publishing a list of its payments to speakers and consultants, making the list available on its corporate responsibility web page. The company paid $14.6 million to about 3,700 U.S. physicians and healthcare professionals between April 1 and June 30, GSK says in a statement Monday. The average payment was $3,909. The company’s list looks similar to the Faculty Registry published by Eli Lilly in July. Lilly and GSK say they will update their online lists each quarter.
