Amneal Pharmaceuticals has received FDA approval to market the first generic nizatidine oral solution to treat heartburn, gastroesophageal reflux disease and conditions associated with excess acid secretion. Nizatidine 15 mg/mL, a generic H2-blocker/antacid, also is approved to prevent and treat ulcers, according to the company’s website.
