FDA Approves Generic Version of Purdue’s Dilaudid Drug

Lannett has received FDA approval for its generic version of Purdue Pharmaceuticals’ Dilaudid, a pain treatment. The FDA approved the company’s hydromorphone HCl tablets in 2-, 4- and 8-mg strengths, Lannett says. Only one other supplier has all three hydromorphone dosage strengths for which Lannett received approval, the company said.
