FDA Reports Nipro, Hettich Recalls

Nipro Medical and Hettich Centrifuges have both initiated recalls, according to the FDA. Nipro is voluntarily recalling its GlucoPro insulin syringes as needles may detach and become stuck in the vial, push into the syringe or remain in the skin after injection. Hettich is recalling various plastic hematocrit rotors that may break apart and cause pieces to forcefully eject through the plastic centrifuge housing.
