Abbott to Pay $22.5 Million to Settle TriCor Antitrust Suit

Abbott Laboratories has agreed to pay $22.5 million to 23 states and the District of Columbia to settle an antitrust lawsuit alleging the company conspired to block generic competition for its cholesterol drug TriCor. The agreement was filed recently in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
