FDA to Look at Devices in the Home Environment

The FDA is gathering information on the safety implications as more medical devices are being used in a home environment. To jump-start the discussion on these challenges, the agency will hold a public workshop May 24 at the Hilton in Silver Spring, Md. Registration for the workshop closes May 17. However, the FDA will accept comments on the issue through June 30.
