Wisconsin Settles Medicaid Case With Boehringer Ingelheim

Four Boehringer Ingelheim subsidiaries have reached a $7.75 million settlement agreement with the state of Wisconsin to resolve civil claims involving reporting “false, fraudulent and inflated” prices for their products to Medicaid. Boehringer subsidiaries agreed to pay $7 million in restitution to the state’s Medicaid program and $750,000 in court costs and fees. The drugmaker denies any wrongdoing.
