PPD Opens 200-Job Facility in Bulgaria

Wilmington-based PPD Inc., which has more than 1,000 employees in the Raleigh-Durham area, said Wednesday that it has opened a pharmacovigilance and medical communications center in Sofia, Bulgaria, its third such facility in Europe.
