FDA to Hold Meeting on Improvements to Radiation Therapy

The FDA will hold a two-day public meeting on device improvements to reduce radiation-dosing errors. The sessions, to be held June 9 and 10 from 8 a.m.
to 5 p.m. at the Hilton in Gaithersburg, Md., will seek input from manufacturers of linear accelerators, radiation therapy planning systems and simulators
on ways to reduce administrative errors and misaligned exposures. The first day will focus on equipment and software and the second day on training. The registration deadline
is May 15.
