MHRA Issues Alert for Sleep Apnea Device

The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued an alert for the Sleep Style CPAP devices manufactured by Fisher and Paykel Health. The devices are used to treat obstructive sleep apnea by delivering continuous positive airway pressure. Fisher and Paykel has received reports of deterioration in the device’s power cord connectors, which may cause the device to shut off.
