Boston Scientific Launches Journey Guidewire

Boston Scientific has launched its Journey Guidewire for use globally in small vessel peripheral angioplasty procedures. The device is used to facilitate the placement of balloon catheters and other treatments in arteries below the knee. The Journey Guidewire features a nitinol distal core and hydraulic coating for increased wire durability, as well a micro-cut nitinol sleeve designed to provide greater control, according to the company.
