Brazil’s Device Database to Include Price Information in Key Countries

Companies marketing some devices in Brazil will have to be more competitive now that the country has launched a price database on six categories of medical devices. The database includes registration and pricing information on more than 300 cardiology devices, orthopedic products, in vitro diagnostic tests and devices used in renal replacement therapy, ophthalmology, otolaryngology and transfusion therapy, Brazil’s healthcare regulatory authority, ANVISA, says.
