Vycor Medical to Acquire NovaVision Assets
November 12, 2010
Vycor Medical will pay $900,000 to acquire the assets of NovoVision, which filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in April. NovaVision makes noninvasive vision restoration therapy (VRT), a patient-specific diagnostic and therapy platform that has FDA clearance and CE Marking. VRT has been clinically proven to restore lost vision resulting from neurological conditions such as strokes or traumatic brain injury, Vycor says. NovoVision had revenues of about $1 million last year.
