MHRA Issues Alert for Invacare Wheelchairs

The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued a device alert for manual wheelchairs manufactured by Invacare. The MHRA says that due to welding problems during manufacture, the wheelchairs’ angle adjustable backrest can fail, leading to a fall for user or carer.
