Healthcare reforms proposed by Czech Republic Health Minister Leos Heger are expected to lead to drug price cuts and new restrictions on the pharmaceutical industry, according to analysts. Heger summarized his extensive healthcare reform into several areas of focus: defining patient eligibility and creating reimbursement standards, implementing greater controls on the introduction of new healthcare technologies and redefining the powers and duties of health insurance funds, IHS Global Insight says.
