Pfizer Hopes to Gain Ground in China With New Marketing Deal

Pfizer is hoping to further tap the third-largest market for pharmaceuticals and expand its branded generics footprint after signing a memorandum of understanding with a Chinese generic-drug maker. The agreement with Shanghai-based Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceuticals aims to expand manufacturing, marketing and development of branded generics, the two companies said June 2.
