Senator: FDA Should Ramp Up Oversight of Outsourcing

The FDA needs to tighten its oversight of drug industry outsourcing in the wake of a recent report that found an increasing number of drugs sold in the U.S. are manufactured in part or wholly overseas, Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) says.
