St. Jude Receives Approval for Tools to Fight Heart Disease

St. Jude said it has received European regulatory approval for tools that help doctors diagnose and treat coronary artery disease. The Little Canada-based company’s Ilumien system integrates several technologies, including a wireless tool to determine the severity of the narrowing of coronary arteries, which may be clogged with plaque.
