EMA: Pfizer Withdraws Extension Application of Indication for Macugen

The European Medicines Agency said it was formally notified by Pfizer Limited of its decision to withdraw its application for an extension of the therapeutic indication for the centrally authorized medicine Macugen, pegaptanib sodium, 0.3 milligram solution for injection.
