Ethicon Drops Sedasys PMA Appeal As FDA Agrees to “Expeditious” Review

The FDA agreed to review its denial of sedation system Sedasys, prompting Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Ethicon Endo-Surgery to drop an appeal. The accord triggered cancellation of a Dec. 14 hearing.
