Margate Hospital Launches New Technology for Sinus Disease

Dr. Ram Madasu is Northwest Medical Center’s ear, nose and throat specialist. For three years he has been using a new procedure, called Balloon Sinuplasty, for treating sinus disease. The instrument used for the surgery was trademarked by Acclarent, a medical device company based in California. Dr. Madasu has treated about 200 patients since Balloon Sinuplasty became available and has a 95 percent success rate.
