FDA Revises Simvastatin Dose When Combined With Amiodarone

The FDA revised the dose limitation for simvastatin from 10 mg to 20 mg when it is co-administered with the cardiac drug amiodarone, and the drug labels for Zocor and generics, as well as Vytorin, have been updated to reflect this correction.
