FDA Warns of New Round of Avastin Counterfeits

Drug regulators continue to find counterfeit Avastin in the U.S., with the product this time impersonating Genentech’s Turkish version of the cancer drug. The FDA discovered the counterfeit product, which contains no active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), coming in from foreign distributors and alerted the public and providers late Tuesday.
