Manufacturing Woes Call for Implant Recall

BIOMET 3i is recalling its Full Osseotite Tapered Certain Implant, lot no. 2011110798. A small number of implants may contain a manufacturing condition where the depth of the implant’s internal hex is too shallow, which may cause the driver, cover screw or abutment from fully engaging the implant.
