FDA Approves GE’s Cardiovascular U.S. System

The FDA has cleared the latest version of GE Healthcare’s Vivid E9 cardiovascular ultrasound system. Dubbed the Vivid E9 Breakthrough 2012, the system includes a 4D transducer for transeophageal echocardiography and tools designed to improve workflow.
