East African Nations to Harmonize Drug Registration Processes

Members of the East African Community (EAC) and public and private international aid organizations March 30 launched an initiative to promote harmonization of drug registration in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi. The effort is seen as a key factor in removing barriers to safe and effective drugs in the region.
