U.S., EU Sign MOU Promoting Radiation Protection Initiatives

The Association of the Heads of the European Radiological protection Competent Authorities (HERCA) and CDRH have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote radiation protection initiatives. Initial efforts will focus on improving the safety and efficacy of computed tomography devices and reducing unnecessary radiation exposure to patients from CT.
