Leached pesticides, particles of wood and metal, infectious bacteria, overdosed medicines, underdosed medicines. And, oh yes, that strange moldy and musty scent. These are the elements of a dramatic spate of recalls plaguing the makers of Tylenol, and keeping store shelves relatively bare of the brand’s once-robust suite of products.
